Interns and will be assigned a Manager / Mentor.
Internship and course work is clarified in a
week by week, project by project, step by step methodology.
Internship offered every quarter! Winter,
Spring, Summer & Fall. See below for schedule.
Virtual (off site) Internship.
Interns are asked to work an average of 15
hours per week around their schedules.
Interns will be provided with excellent
training and relative course work to teach interns how to analyze & pick stocks.
Interns will be managing multiple investment
portfolios with virtual capital ranging from $100,000 portfolios -
1 million dollar portfolios.
Interns will make virtual stock trades with
the market in real time.
All Interns will publish an Investment
Strategy Commentary.
Interns will submit weekly Stock Analysis
& Portfolio Data Reports to their manager every Sunday.
The reports are used as Data for a continuous
Stocks Analysis Market Research Study managed by the Consulting Firm.
Stipends1
will be awarded to Interns based on their portfolio net gains and earnings. A total of 10
Stipends will be awarded to 10 Interns who retained the most gains within their portfolio
comparative to their team. Meaning, out of a total of 10 teams, 1 Intern per team
will be awarded a Stipend of $750.00, a 1:10 ratio. However, the # 1 objective for all
Interns will be to become comfortable with how to Analyze stocks.
At the end of the Internship, all Interns will
take a small on-line end of course exam. Passing this exam will enable Interns to
receive a Stock Analyst Course Certifcation2
from the Consulting Firm hosting the Internship.
Foot Note 1-
Stipends - A total of $7,500 worth of stipends will be awarded IF the
total enrollment of Interns meets the 100 interns per quarter quota. If there are
less than 100 interns within any given quarter, stipends will be reassessed. A total
enrollment of less than 100 interns has never occurred with this program. In either case,
stipend disbursements will be clarified to Interns during their orientation by their
manager.
Foot Note 2-
The Stock Analyst Course Certification does not certify any individual to
become a licensed stock broker or corporate stock analyst. The certificate only
warrants that any individual receiving the certificate has passed all requisites of
successfully completing the internship and passing an end of course exam relating to the
field of Financial Stock Analysis. |
If
you are visiting CPR's site for the first time, you may not be familiar with the CPR
Program. CPR, which is an acronym for Career Placement Recruiting specializes to
automate and set up Virtual Internships for companies.
CPR also incorporates a Strategic Career
Placement Program for students and recent graduates. Students who apply to
the CPR Program are matched with internship opportunities within CPR's Corporate
Internship Network.
Major Benefits to CPR's Program for Students:
Resume screening is NOT used to match
students, eliminating GPA, Gender and Racial Bias.
Companies accept interns based on internship
vacancies.
Students do not Interview with companies.
Students apply to the CPR Program and If they
are offered an internship, then they are accepted into the CPR Program.3
A CPR Placement Representative will send all
Internship Specs along with a formal acceptance proposal to the student.3
Once they have been accepted to an internship,
students may reject their internship offer which will then forfeit their internship
opportunity to CPR's waiting list.3
If a student is not accepted into CPR's
Program because an internship placement could not be provided, the student may opt to be
placed on a waiting list.3
Foot Note 3- The bullets with this footnote indicates that
this is the protocol for all other internships listed by CPR. The Stocks
Analyst Internship has a 100% acceptance rate due to the quantity of interns
accepted per quarter. When all 100 opportunities will be matched, no application
will be provided to apply to this internship.
The following services are provided to students
